It was accompanied by the distinct sound of a loaded gun.
Five additional guards stood beside him, brandishing electric shock guns and aiming them at Sonny.
The gun against his back slowly moved upward and came to a stop at the back of his head.
Jamie commanded, “Surrender what you’re holding, raise your hands, and turn around!”
Sonny, however, remained still. He clutched the box tightly to his chest as if unwilling to let it go.
A mocking smile played on Jamie’s lips as he warned, “Even if you manage to escape us by some stroke of luck, you won’t leave the Imperial Palace tonight if the alarm should go off. And you certainly won’t take whatever is in your hands. If you don’t want a bullet in your head, gently place it on the floor and turn around!”
Sonny turned around slowly, still refusing to release the box.
Kyson had just arrived on the scene. His surprise was evident as he peered at Sonny’s face in the dim streetlight.
“It’s youl”
He smiled viciously.
“You lied to me and called yourself Stefan! It’s quite funny that I didn’t recognize you all this time you’ve been right under my nose!”

The smile vanished from Kyson’s face and was immediately replaced by a cold expression.
Jamie asked, “Sir, what should we do with him?”
“No guns. Too much noise will attract unnecessary attention. Take him to a secluded place and kill him quietly.” Kyson waved his hand dismissively.

Hearing this, Sonny laughed defiantly.
“Kyson, do you actually think they can kill me?”
Kyson raised an eyebrow.
“Feel free to try and escape.”
With those words, Jamie made a move. Sonny swiftly evaded, and fought back with remarkable speed.

Within seconds, Sonny swiftly took down two guards with a series of powerful blows.
However, his progress was halted when a jolt from an electric shock gun struck his back. Hindered by the cold box he clutched, he found it difficult to fight back. Also, he had no weapon.
The electric shock coursed through his body, causing uncontrollable spasms. Taking advantage of his vulnerable state, Jamie delivered a hard blow to Sonny’s knee from behind.
